"One of the great films about men... Marvellous" Time Out.

Wim Wenders' epic about men and the road, the third part of his "Road Movie Trilogy" which included Alice in the Cities (1974) and The Wrong Move (1975).

A movie projector repairman travels the dusty roads on the border between East and West Germany visiting worn-out film-theatres. He meets up with a suicidally depressed young man whose marriage has just broken up, and the two decide to travel together. The movie focuses on the relationship that develops between these two men.
