Just released from prison for a crime he didn't commit, Luciano finds work on wealthy Alfreda's estate. He is surprised to hear the restless Alfreda's biggest wish is to see an apparition of the Virgin Mary and invite her to tea. Aren't expensive cars and clothes enough for her? At first, Luciano tries to shake her of her Mary fixation, but then he realises he may be able to make her wish come true.
