A sequel to Louis Bunuel's BELLE DU JOUR, a lifetime later. Henri Husson (Michel Piccoli) always lusted after Severine, a young housewife who secretly worked at an upscale brothel while avoiding intimacy with her wheelchair-bound husband. Henri knew her secret, but did he tell? 38 years later, they meet again and the sadistic Henri lures the guilt-addled, widowed Severine to a candlelit dinner with the promise that all will be revealed.
